As the Cleveland Browns search for a new quarterback, the connections between them and Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders continue to build.
General manager Andrew Berry has already said he does not foresee any issues from the Sanders family if the Browns were to select the Colorado quarterback. The connections between the two sides are undeniable, however.
Not only does head coach Kevin Stefanski have a firm relationship with Colorado’s offensive coordinator (and former Browns head coach) Pat Shurmur from their days in Minnesota, but Deion Sanders has a connection with their new quarterbacks coach, Bill Musgrave.
Musgrave has spoken on that connection, leading to him getting playing time in the Super Bowl behind Steve Young. The Browns’ quarterbacks coach recalls throwing balls to Sanders in practice, who wanted to make sure his hands were as sharp as could be.
Sanders too spoke on his relationship with Musgrave, who he called “Muskie.” You can hear Sanders rave about Musgrave below:
“Billy got to play” @CShortsIII he got to play bro.. he threw a pass and all lol

Will the Browns take Sanders? We’ll see. It’s deemed a bad class, but do not expect the Browns to be scared away by the Sanders family.
