Cleveland Browns defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr. was added to the injury report this afternoon with a knee injury.
This announcement comes after the conclusion of the Browns’ practice where Hall most likely sustained the injury. His status against the New Orleans Saints is now in play and he is most likely questionable for this Sunday’s matchup. The rookie defensive tackle has collected five tackles in his four contests so far this season.
The timing of Hall’s injury could be better, as the Browns just traded away defensive end Za’Darius Smith. Despite being a defensive tackle, the rookie was expected to take some of Smith’s workload and see more playing time in his now-permanent absence.
The extent of Hall’s injury is not yet known, but he was a limited participant in practice today. Therefore, it is safe to assume that Michael Hall Jr. will not be out for a long period, if at all. We’ll see if he can play against the New Orleans Saints this Sunday.
