Assistant WR Coach departs Cleveland for a role with USA Football
Cleveland Browns Asst. Wide Receivers Coach Callie Brownson is officially leaving the team to join USA Football, the organization responsible for selecting, leading, and training the USA’s national flag football teams.
Brownson has been with the Browns organization since 2020, originally as the team’s Chief of Staff until 2022 when she became the Asst. Wide Receivers coach to Chad O’Shea.
She also became the first woman in NFL history to be a position coach during a regular season game when she filled in for TE Coach Drew Petzing against the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2020.
She made two other regular-season coaching appearances later that season as well.
After spending five seasons with the Browns, we extend our best wishes to Callie Brownson as she takes on a new chapter with @USAFootball
