Also, fans are split on who will win between the Browns and Saints this Sunday.
Each week during season, Cleveland Browns fans vote in SB Nation Reacts to express their confidence level in the team or their thoughts on other topics.
After their bye in Week 10, the Browns’ confidence improved to 16%, an increase of 4 percentage points from the previous week. Essentially, it’s a push — fans are not having much hope, but since Cleveland has two games in four days coming up, improving the team’s record to 4-7 could boost confidence a bit.
The Chargers’ confidence is at 64% after their 3-7 start.
We asked two questions about the Browns this week. The first asked how fans expect the defense to play for the rest of the season. 64% said about the same as they’ve been playing, while only 12% think they will improve (a staggeringly low number, when this defense still has some upside to it). The remaining 24% think the defense will actually regress.
Our other question asked Browns fans what they expect the outcome of Sunday’s game against the Saints to be. The fan base in Cleveland is split: 46% think the Browns will win, while 54% are taking the Saints.
Fans on a national level were asked who they think will cover the spread between the Browns and the Saints. The Browns are 1.5 point underdogs to the Saints this Sunday, per FanDuel Sportsbook. 67% of people think New Orleans will cover, which means fans on a national scale aren’t showing much faith in the Browns still. Funny enough, Cleveland is a popular pick by the national media this week to win and cover.
