Although the game ended with a walk off field goal, the Browns got off to a rocky start as they quickly found themselves down by 14 points.
At the end of the first quarter, the Browns trailed 17-3.
However, in the second quarter, Dustin Hopkins kept the Browns in the game by making two more field goals and the Browns went into halftime only down by eight, 17-9.
In the second half, the Ravens got a quick touchdown on a 40- yard touchdown pass from Lamar Jackson to former Browns wide receiver, Odell Beckham Jr.
The Browns offense then controlled the football for the next 10:09 of game time as they drove the ball down the field for a touchdown.
The 17 play, 75 yard touchdown drive ended with a Kareem Hunt 3 yard touchdown run. In addition, the Browns converted the two point conversion to get within seven points of the Ravens at 24-17.

The Ravens extended their lead to 31-17 with a touchdown with 11:34 left in the game.
The Browns then got to within seven points on a touchdown pass from Deshaun Watson to Elijah Moore to make the score 31-24.

After the Ravens gained possession from the kickoff, Greg Newsome got a pick six and it looked like the Browns would tie the game at 31-31.

However, the Browns missed the extra point and thus were down by one point with 8:16 left in the game.
The Browns defense was then able to get the stop and regained possession of the ball with 4:55 left in the game.
Amazingly, the Browns would not give the ball back to the Ravens.
The Browns closed out the game with a 12-play 58-yard drive which culminated in a 40-yard Dustin Hopkins game winning field goal.
For the game, Deshaun Watson was 20/34 for 213 yards, and threw one touchdown pass. Watson had a 74.8 quarterback rating for the game.
Leading the Browns on the ground was Jerome Ford who had 17 carries for 107 yards (6.3 avg.).
Leading the Browns in receiving was Amari Cooper (6-98), David Njoku (6-58), and Elijah Moore (5-44).
So what did we learn about the Browns in this amazing victory over a Division rival?
I believe a major takeaway from the Browns victory was how impressive the Browns running game was.
In fact, the Browns ran the ball 36 times and gained 178 yards for an average of 4.9 yards per carry against one of the best defenses in the NFL. And they did this without their top running back, Nick Chubb.
If the Browns can continue to run the ball like they did against the Ravens and play great defense, we may be looking at a very fun post-season.
Because of today’s excellent running game, the Browns were also able to control the time of possession throughout the game.
The Browns had the ball for 34:15 and the Ravens had the ball for 25:45.
In addition, the Browns were able to control the time of possession when it mattered most, at the end of the game.
The Browns got the ball back with 4:55 left in the game and ran out the clock as they made the winning field goal with no time remaining.
Simply amazing!
With the victory the Browns move to 6-3 on the season and will face Pittsburgh at home next Sunday.
