During his time in Houston Jacques helped develop ROTY candidate Will Anderson and pass rusher Jonathan Greenard who led the team with 12.5 sacks. Cesaire also had a successful NFL career, playing for the San Diego Chargers from 2003-2011 and registered 12.5 career sacks and 220 total tackles. His coaching career started at San Diego University where he was the DL Coach for 4 seasons (2015-2019). He served under renowned DL Coach Eric Washington in Buffalo for two seasons and is credited with helping develop former first round pick Ed Oliver. During his time in Houston he was a part of former Texans HC Lovie Smith’s staff and he was retained by rookie HC Demeco Ryans. The Texans did not renew Cesaire’s contract at the end of the season and now he will be heading down to Cleveland to coach one of the most explosive lines in football. Should be a great addition to the coaching staff!
