Cleveland defensive end named to NFLPA team for third consecutive season.
Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett may have missed on out topping the league in sacks in 2024, but he is not going into the offseason empty-handed on the award front.
On Wednesday, the NFL Players Association released its All-Pro team as voted on by the league’s players and Garrett was named to the squad for the third-consecutive season.

The association first began naming its own All-Pro team in 2023 to allow the players to decide who is the best at each position for the given season. JC Tretter, who was NFLPA president at the time as well as the starting center for the Browns, explained that the players are uniquely positioned to make selections because “we compete against each other all season long, watching hours and hours of film week after week after week, and yet we have never had an opportunity to truly use our expertise to select the best of us.”
Garrett finished the season with 14 sacks, the second-most in the league behind Trey Hendrickson of the Cincinnati Bengals, who joined Garrett on the list. Garrett also surpassed 100 career sacks in late December, making him tied with Hall of Famers Bruce Smith (Buffalo Bills and Washington) and Lawrence Taylor (New York Giants) as the fourth fastest players to hit that milestone.

The eight-year veteran is the first player to have at least 14 sacks in a season for four consecutive years, as well as the first player to record 100 sacks before the age of 29.
Finally, Garrett is the fifth player since 1982, when sacks first became an official stat, with at least 100 sacks in his first eight seasons, joining Reggie White (Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers, and Carolina Panthers), DeMarcus Ware (Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos), Jared Allen (Kansas City Chiefs, Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bears, and Carolina Panthers), and T.J. Watt (Pittsburgh Steelers) on the list.
For those keeping score at home, Watt was not selected by his peers for the All-Pro team.
