The Cleveland Browns retain their stance that they are not entertaining the idea of trading All-Pro and future Hall of Famer Myles Garrett.
While The Athletic’s Diana Russini had stated on Super Bowl Sunday that the Browns were telling teams to “stay tuned” regarding calls they may have received for Garrett, general manager Andrew Berry spoke to the media at the NFL combine and reiterated the team’s stance. Here is what Berry had to say on Garrett and his trade request:
“He is a huge part of our organization. He is a really good person and an awesome player. We understand the trade request and everything but our stance really has not changed. We cannot imagine a situation where not having Myles as a part of the organization is best for the Browns.”

This is all a cat-and-mouse game right now. If the Browns were going to trade Garrett the conversations would be happening this week over steak and wine at St. Elmo’s Steakhouse as all NFL general managers are in a central location for the NFL combine.
Will Garrett win out or will the Browns remain dug in?
