OC Ken Dorsey and OL Andy Dickerson were added and the offense got worse in 2024
The Cleveland Browns season is over. They are the first team to hit that mark in the entire NFL, with a paltry 3-14 record to show for it. The reporting has been clear that HC Kevin Stefanski and GM Andrew Berry were safe with owner Jimmy Haslam saying as much but there were questions about other changes on the offensive staff after the season ended.
We noted six coaches who could be on their way out when the season ended including a few who were new this season.
With Cleveland’s last game on Saturday, the annual day of firing coaches moved up to become “Black Sunday” for OC Ken Dorsey and OL coach Andy Dickerson:
The #Browns also fired OL coach Andy Dickerson. Major changes on offense. https://t.co/6aEBevw3E8

Both Dorsey and Dickerson were brought in this offseason but saw significant problems with their units.
Dorsey’s offense was set to highlight QB Deshaun Watson but the starter was historically bad before getting injured. Only QB Jameis Winston led any semblance of a quality offense but continued his long struggle with turnovers.
Trying to replace the legendary offensive line coach Bill Callahan is difficult but Dickerson’s units looked overwhelmed most of the year even when the starters were healthy.
We will keep you up to date on all reported changes as the offseason starts for the Browns.
Do you think Dorsey and Dickerson deserved to be fired? Are you surprised it happened so quickly?
