Week 8’s AFC North matchup has a few key players out but Zay Flowers, Marlon Humphrey statuses were up in the air
The Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens will kick off at 1 PM with an air of mourning around the stadium. Saturday, the world lost the Voice of the Browns Jim Donovan. Nothing that happens on the field changes that but Donovan loved the team and the City of Cleveland so football goes on and we continue to cover it.
On the field, the Browns transition to a new playcaller on offense and a new starting quarterback. Friday’s injury report also had four players out for Cleveland which will change the offensive line as well today.
WR Zay Flowers and CB Marlon Humphrey were two statuses worth watching for the Ravens heading into the inactive reports.
Now, with 90 minutes to go until halftime, the official inactive reports finalize the status for the two Baltimore stars:
Browns Inactives
- RB Jerome Ford
- S Ronnie Hickman
- LB Jordan Hicks
- OT Jedrick Wills
- QB Bailey Zappe (3QB)
- DT Quinton Jefferson
No surprises on Cleveland’s side.
Ravens Inactives
- RB Rahseen Ali
- CB Marlon Humphrey
- CB Nate Wiggins
- LB Adisa Isaac
- OL Nick Samac
- OL David Ojabo
Flowers is active today which is a huge lift for the Baltimore offense but Humphrey joining Wiggins out could make things easier for the Browns offense as well.
