The Cleveland Browns put on quite a showing in their first primetime game of the season as they beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 24-19 on Thursday Night Football.
It was a stellar night for All-Pro defensive end Myles Garrett, who turned the tide early in the first half for the Browns. In this stellar performance, He collected three impressive solo sacks and a forced fumble. Safety Grant Delpit also made a huge impact with his 10 total tackles and play-making ability. Stopping the Steelers’ offense was always going to be one of the biggest challenges of this game, but winning the turnover battle made a huge difference in the final score.
Browns quarterback Jameis Winston and the offense had a somewhat successful night in the tough weather conditions. Despite playing in one of the worst conditions he’s ever faced, he still managed to move the ball well and had 219 passing yards on the day. Luckily, this was the perfect time for running back Nick Chubb to showcase his talents to the world. He managed to have two touchdowns in the Browns win along with 59 yards on the ground.
