David Njoku, Denzel Ward, Jerome Ford, Jameis Winston updates Thursday afternoon
As the Cleveland Browns wrapped up their final practice of the 2024 NFL season, many of their players have already played their final game of the season. An earlier look at the injury report for this week’s game between the Browns and the home team Baltimore Ravens showed a large swath of starters and important players missing practice or being limited.
Whether the Ravens continue to see an illness spread in their roster may not matter with the visitors coming to town with a light roster.
Cleveland ruled out five players for Saturday’s AFC North matchup right after practice on Thursday:
- RB Jerome Ford
- TE David Njoku
- CB Denzel Ward
- LB Jordan Hicks
- RB Pierre Strong
The Browns also reported that their final injury report, which we will cover when both teams make them official, will show five players as questionable:
- QB Jameis Winston
- DT Dalvin Tomlinson
- DE Ogbo Okoronkwo
- WR Mike Woods
- TE Blake Whiteheart
Given the number of injuries, we could see roster movement on Friday to send some players to injured reserve to make room to sign replacements up from the practice squad.
We will update you with the final injury report later this afternoon.
