On Wednesday, it was reported by Titan’s reporter Paul Kuharsky @PaulKuharskyNFL on twitter, that the Cleveland Browns have requested to interview Titans Outside-Linebackers coach Ryan Crow for their defensive line job. Ben Bloom the current Browns DL coach has reportedly not been fired by the organization and is still in the role, it stemmed a lot of confusion among fans and other media outlets. I reached out to Kuharsky via email to confirm the report regarding Crow, and he did reply with this “I reported what I was told from a very trustworthy source.” This concludes that Bloom has either been removed from his position or if he has been reassigned in another position with the team.
Crow, a member of the Titans coaching staff for six seasons, has coached at many different levels from Offensive Line in college to Outside- linebackers in the NFL. He was born in Findlay, Ohio, and played linebacker at Bowling Green before becoming the Offensive Line coach at Baldwin Wallace University right down the street from Browns Headquarters in Berea. In 2022, Crow helped Titan’s pass rushers Denico Autry and Rashad Weaver lead the team in sacks with 8.0 and 5.5, Crow has a great reputation and is a young coach that has worked with DC Jim Schwartz before and could bring a good philosophy to this defense!
