The AFC North matchup between the Browns and Steelers could be littered with flags
Fans of the NFL do not turn on football games to watch the officials throw flags and call penalties. As expected, fans often believe that their team is getting the short end of the stick from the refs and/or call for their head coach to be fired for not doing a good enough job in preventing them.
With hours to go until the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers kickoff Thursday Night Football and Week 12 of the 2024 NFL season, there are a lot of variables that could impact the outcome. The Steelers have a few big-name players and the Browns have a few important aspects that could decide this AFC North clash.
Given Brad Allen’s crew has the whistle tonight, we could also see a lot of presnap penalties called:

The information at the top is very concerning for the home team as Cleveland has struggled with penalties this year. That “this crew doesn’t shy away from 4th quarter penalties” also means that a close game could be decided by flag by the refs.
