Following a disastrous offensive season, the Cleveland Browns parted ways with Ken Dorsey after just one year as offensive coordinator but may be close to hiring his replacement as they are set to interview Klint Kubiak.
Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports that the Browns will interview Kubiak, who spent the 2024 season as the offensive coordinator with the New Orleans Saints, on Monday for their vacant offensive coordinator position. Kubiak is the son of Gary Kubiak, who developed a strong connection with Kevin Stefanski during their time together in Minnesota in 2019.

Klint Kubiak, 37, recently completed his second NFL season as an offensive coordinator, with his first year in the role for New Orleans. He previously led Minnesota’s offense in 2021 following his father’s retirement from the same position.
Stefanski worked alongside Klint Kubiak during Minnesota’s 2013, 2014, and 2019 seasons. Hiring Kubiak would suggest a return to the wide-zone-based offensive system that delivered success in Stefanski’s early seasons with the Browns.
