Browns history is littered with a lot of good, bad and colorful but how did you join the Dawg Pound?
The history of the Cleveland Browns is a long one. Our history expert Barry Shuck has done a great job of walking you through much of it, from helmets to logos to interviews with past players and more. Recently, the team’s history was more widely recognized by the NFL, placing the Browns near the top of league championships.
In many ways, Cleveland Browns fans deserve their own book in the history of the Browns. From John “Big Dawg” Thompson to “The Bone Lady” to the history of the Dawg Pound itself, Cleveland fans are the best in all of sports.
The whole “nature or nurture?” is an interesting conversation for those who work with people, especially teachers, counselors and those in the medical profession. Is someone the way they are because of biological factors or socialized factors? The answer is often “both” but for Browns fans, we normally find that they are either born into it (nature) or some kind of life event, relationship (nurture) grew them into a fan of the team.
We want to hear from you, are you more of a Dawg by Nature or a Dawg by Nurture?
