After injuring his neck against the Baltimore Ravens in the middle of the 2024 season, a cloud of mystery has hung over Cleveland Browns linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah.
The Pro Bowl linebacker was placed on Injured Reserve and his season ended that day. However, there has been little clarity given from the Browns about what the future holds for Owusu-Koramoah after he was stretchered off the field this past season.
General manager Andrew Berry was asked about the status of his Pro Bowl linebacker while speaking to the media at the NFL combine, and again a vague update was given:
“I wish I had a specific update for you on Jeremiah. I would say that he’s slowly making progress. He’s going through all that’s required medically, but I don’t have anything specific.”
This is trending in a direction where it seems like the Browns nor Owusu-Koramoah know whether or not he will be able to play football again after a significant blow to his neck.
I guess no news is good news until we hear something of substance regarding the long-term health of Owusu-Koramoah.
