You guys know I would never put a picture of a Steelers player here
Pittsburgh Steelers 6-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Cameron Heyward had some interesting comments when asked about his future in the Black and Yellow. Heyward, 35, has been in the NFL since 2011 and has been one of the most dominant interior defensive linemen of the decade. According to some Steelers media, it could be time for some change in the steel city.
At the team’s Mandatory Minicamp, Heyward said “I still have family in Cleveland… My wife is from Cleveland,” the Steelers lineman Heyward said in regard to a possible inter-divisional switch. “We will see. I am not trying to think about all that right now.” With Heyward’s best days behind him, it would be pretty cool to snatch up an awesome player from a division foe next season. Heyward ran the idea by his wife Allie, who said it could be “fun to play somewhere else.” Only time will tell in this instance, but it will be a fun situation to watch develop over the next couple of seasons!
