Myles Garrett is not the only Cleveland Browns player on Radio Row at the Super Bowl, as tight end David Njoku has also been caught on the scene.
And in classic Njoku fashion, the Pro Bowl tight end is not wearing a shirt just like it is a pregame ritual in 20-degree weather. On Radio Row, however, Njoku sat down with the guys at Bleacher Report to discuss the future of the Browns, including the trade request made by Garrett, who did a media tour of his own.
In the interview, Mike Golic Jr. asks Njoku if he has any public plea for Garrett. Njoku responded:
“Come on, dawg, stay home, bro… Stay home, come on, give it another shot. We ain’t that far off, honestly speaking, so.”
Njoku furthered his plea to his fellow 2017 NFL draft first round pick:
“That’s my brother, man. We came in the same time, the same round. We’ve been here the same amount of time. We’ve seen the lowest of the lows and the highest of the highs in our team… I don’t think we’re done yet. I know he wants to win, wants to be great, wants to be a champion. So do I… Stay home baby. We already got this far. We didn’t come this far just to come this far.”

As for how close the Browns are? Njoku thinks they may be just one piece away:
“I think we’re close, man. I think we just need a healthy, good quarterback.”
The Browns have publicly stated they will not entertain trading their future first-ballot Pro Football Hall of Famer. Can Njoku and the Browns get Garrett to buy back in for the 2025 season though?
