Dolphins need run stoppers, and the #8 ranked player on the board is still there in DT Walter Nolen (6’-3”, 305 pounds) of Ole Miss. Nolen is a gifted athlete who is versatile in that he can pop to the outside if needed, but his forte is plugging gaps, and where he plays happily. High floor who runs a 4.95. First step explosion with a great change of direction. Shows advanced processing skills, especially the diagnosis of zone runs. Has what every DC wants in his interior defensive linemen in that Nolen has a nasty demeanor. Will look great in teal.
No. 14 – Colts – Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State

While the Cots have needs in the secondary and on the defensive line, giving their young QB, whether it is Anthony Richardson or Daniel Jones, a safety net is a bigger priority. Tyler Warren is a dynamic tight end who had 20 plays of 20 yards or more last year, while still being extremely effective in the short and intermediate routes. While he is an adequate blocker, that is the part of his game that he can improve upon. Bottom line, his upside as an offensive threat is just too great to pass at this point in the draft.
No. 15 – Falcons – Jalon Walker, EDGE, Georgia

The Atlanta Falcons enter the draft looking for help on defense, especially the front seven. In 2024 they were 31st in sacks and allowed 4.5 yards a carry. Jalon Walker is a versatile defender who can play both off the ball linebacker and EDGE. He has improved at playing linebacker but on the edge is where he is better at the moment, which is where the Falcons will probably play him most to help with their pass rushing woes.
No. 16 – Cardinals – Grey Zabel, C, North Dakota State

The Arizona Cardinals are only gonna go as far as Kyler Murray will take them. It’s time to get the former #1 pick to what Arizona envisioned him to be. Grey Zabel is the exact pivot center they need to open running lanes for the duel threat QB and Murray has already stated he wants to run more in 2025.
Up next will be the 17-20 picks in the 2025 DBN Community Mock Draft.
