This year’s DBN Community NFL Mock Draft continues, as we are one third of the way through the draft now.
It’s time to kick off the 2025 DBN Community NFL Mock Draft! We are releasing four picks at a time in one post to give you more substance to digest how the draft is unfolding. Here you can see all of our NFL mock draft coverage for the Cleveland Browns
No. 9 – Saints – Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama

The New Orleans Saints have a few notable holes on both sides of the ball. The OL needs help rebuilding in the trenches, they need an Edge rusher and the secondary needs help after trading away Marshon Lattimore last season. Picking at No. 9, they can choose any number of these options. Although, the Saints probably would want Shedeur Sanders if he falls to them, in this case, he did not.
With Derek Carr not being the long-term answer for the Saints, new Head Coach, Kellen Moore, will select his future quarterback at 9 overall. With so many quarterback-needy teams sitting behind them, Milroe might not make it back around to the 2nd round pick. Coach Moore will get his guy here. Milroe can sit behind Carr for an entire season or whenever Carr starts failing and the fans begin chanting Milroe’s name.
No. 10 – Bears – Will Campbell, OT, LSU

Jalon Walker was tough to pass on here but he isn’t an ideal fit for Chicago’s defense. Campbell is the next best player on the board and offers the Bears a chance to build a dynamic unit up front. He has position versatility and will be a guy to help build a strong culture in that room.
No. 11 – 49ers – Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas

This was a tough decision to make. The 49ers defense is weak along their interior defensive line and their cornerback room took a hit when CB Charvarius Ward left in free agency for the Indianapolis Colts. Cornerbacks Jahdae Barron and Will Johnson are elite level corners in their class but the 49ers choose Barron over Johnson at pick 10.
Barron is a versatile chess piece. He can play virtually anywhere. Whether it’s corner, safety or on the boundary he can do it. With defensive coordinator Robert Saleh back in the Bay Area, he can benefit from having an elite level corner at his disposal. Keep in mind, Saleh was with the New York Jets who drafted Sauce Gardner back in 2022. Barron who can fit the run well and he does it with an aggressive nature. He needs to improve his tackling a bit but this would be an ideal situation for the 49ers and they take on of the better defensive players in this draft.
No. 12 – Cowboys – Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas

Cowboys go with the best available player for a position that they need to address. With Zack Martin retiring and Tyler Guyton struggling at LT, Cowboys can draft Banks to either play tackle or guard. Cowboys need to make sure to protect Dak especially since he is coming back from injury.
Up next will be the 13-16 picks in the 2025 DBN Community Mock Draft.
