One of the most hated men, not just currently but in the history of Cleveland Sports, has to be Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson. Not just for his bad play under center but for his extremely disturbing behavior throughout the years. Oh, and that egregious amount of money he is making with the contract signed.
This Thursday was an interesting day for NFL fans as Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker was accused of these actions. Read this via The Baltimore Banner:
“Ravens kicker Justin Tucker engaged in inappropriate behavior at four high-end spas and wellness centers in the Baltimore region, according to six massage therapists, including exposing his genitals, brushing two of them with his exposed penis, and leaving what they believed to be ejaculate on the massage table after three of his treatments.
Several therapists said Tucker’s behavior was so egregious that they ended his sessions early or refused to work on him again. And, at two spas, management said they banned him from returning.”
My parents are so disappointed in me for writing some of those words.
Anyway, instantly. I mean, instantly, the connection was made. Deshaun Watson and Justin Tucker were compared and contrasted on social media for this bad behavior made by professional football players. It was wild just to see how quickly it happened and grew throughout the night.
*Tucker denies these allegations made about him and his behavior.
Last season with the Ravens, Tucker went 22/30 on field goals and 60/62 with extra points. He scored a total of 126 points. The 35-year-old has been an extraordinary kicker for Baltimore since the 2012 campaign.
Tucker has certainly broken the hearts of Browns fans all of these years with his kicking against our team. That’s for sure…
Overall, it’s simply amazing the reputation a player like Deshaun Watson has and it’s one so gruesome that this comparison was made by so many so quickly.
Moving forward, it’ll be interesting to see what the NFL decides to do with Tucker. If the allegations are proven true, then is there a suspension, or what the ultimate decision comes to be.
We already know Deshaun Watson isn’t going to be playing next season. However, that is due to the injury he sustained once again. With Tucker, it’s not an injury (at least not now) that will be stopping him from playing in the future.
Of course, most of the posts were jokes made about these two. What I do wonder is if Tucker reaches out to Watson and almost asks him for some type of actual advice. This Browns pass thrower has been in this situation himself (many times) maybe he could help him work through these affairs.
Anyway, we shall see what happens as we are closing in on Super Bowl Sunday!
