Stefanski said that LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah will not play against the Chargers this weekend
Kevin Stefanski officially announced that Cleveland Browns star linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah will sit out on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers due to his recent neck injury that he suffered against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 8.
Though this news isn’t necessarily surprising due to the severity of the injury, it’s still a huge blow for the defense heading into Week 9.
Owusu-Koramoah is the unit’s leader and “green dot” on defense and without him, players like Mohamoud Diabate (who has been lauded recently), Devin Bush, and 6th-round rookie LB Nathaniel Watson will need to step up in a big way against the Chargers.
