After spending the 2024 season as a consultant with the Cleveland Browns, Mike Vrabel appears to be closing in on his next coaching gig.
While Vrabel was fired by the Tennessee Titans just a year ago, coming to Cleveland to help out the Browns in a gap year, he seems destined to land another head coaching gig. Bleacher Report’s Jordan Schultz has reported that he is close to returning to the team where he spent most of his playing career: the New England Patriots.
The Patriots fired their head coach, Jerod Mayo, after just one season. It appears they are not wasting his time finding his replacement.
During his playing career with the Patriots, Vrabel was named to one All-Pro team, made the Pro Bowl three times, and won three Super Bowls. As a coach, he will look to bring the franchise more of the same after a few rough seasons in a row.
