The Cleveland Browns did not come away with the win in Week 16 against the Cincinnati Bengals, but that did not stop All-Pro defensive end Myles Garrett from crossing another career milestone.
Racking up a sack on Joe Burrow in this game, Garrett how officially has crossed the 100-sack threshold for his career. Averaging double-digit sacks throughout his career, it took Garrett less than eight years to hit that mark. Taking into account a rookie season that started late due to an injury and another season that ended early with a suspension, this is quite an accomplishment.
The reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year is now up to 12 sacks on the season with two games left to play in a down 3-12 year in Cleveland.
Garrett is well on his way to a gold jacket and likely gets the call as a first-ballot Pro Football Hall of Famer. Hopefully, he retires in a Browns uniform despite his growing frustration.
