After winning the NFL Defensive Player of the Year award a year ago, Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett is once again a finalist.
While the Browns went 3-14 in a rough 2024 campaign, Garrett continued to be one of their few bright spots. While the team looks to improve around Garrett, a demand of the perennial All-Pro after his public comments, their star defensive end is still playing at his peak.
Coming off of a 2023 year where he won the award, Garrett followed it up by becoming the first player in NFL history with four straight seasons with at least 14 sacks. It is unlikely that he will win the award this year after the down year from the team, but he is worthy to receive the votes again.
The other finalists for the award are Cincinnati Bengals pass rusher Trey Hendrickson, Pittsburgh Steelers pass rusher TJ Watt, Denver Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain II, and Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Zach Baun.
