Players elevated their draft stock after a solid performance at the combine.
The completion of the NFL Scouting Combine marks a significant milestone in the draft process for the Cleveland Browns. For the scouting and personnel department, they now have a clearer picture on how to stack players on their draft board based on the testing data received. Check out Jared Mueller’s latest mock draft for the Browns post-combine.
Currently, the Browns have the most capital in the entire draft based on the quantity and value of their picks. Cleveland has a tremendous opportunity to find several future starters on day two of the upcoming draft with the 33rd, 67th, and 94th overall picks in the second and third round.
Four players stand out as having elevated their stock and could have a significant role on next year’s iteration of the Browns roster.
DE Donovan Ezeiruaku
Ezeiruaku has checked enough boxes to be considered a potential first round pick. If the Browns take a QB at the top of the draft, grabbing him at 33 would be an ideal scenario. His production last season was off the charts with 15.5 sacks and tested well at the combine for speed and explosion.

WR Jaylin Noel
Noel might be the most slept on player in this draft. He ran a 4.39 40-yard dash and tested well in the explosion and agility drills. His performance elevated his draft position to late second round so the Browns may need to move up a few spots from 67 in order to nab him.
Jaylin Noel 23 bench reps (most among WRs)
He was best or T-best in the bench, both jumps, had a great field workout and ran 4.39 with 6.82 3cone and 4.17 shuttle

C Jared Wilson
The Browns need young depth on the interior of the offensive line. Wilson tested off the charts athletically at the combine and put himself in the conversation to go in the second round.

TE Mason Taylor
Taylor appears able to do it all at tight end. He checked all the boxes with his testing and had the best on-field workout of all the TEs. He will still be only 20 years old on draft night and may have elevated himself above Harold Fannin Jr. and Gunnar Helm in this class.
