Titans seem locked into a QB but is is Cam Ward or Shedeur Sanders?
Every year, the rumors that surround the NFL draft seem to heat up earlier and earlier. Oftentimes, the early rumors seem to be what actually happens while those closer to the actual draft are a bit more smoke than fire. For the Cleveland Browns, the most important rumors will surround the Tennessee Titans but Deion Sanders could add a layer to that.
The newest Sanders rumor is that he could take over the Dallas Cowboys.
Shortly after the Titans got the first overall selection, we shared with you the rumor that they “loved” QB Cam Ward. That rumor gained a little steam this week with Ward’s head coach at the University of Miami noting that he is expected to be selected first overall:
As we got closer and closer to game day, it became increasingly evident that Cam was more than likely going to be the first player selected in the NFL draft,” Cristobal said.
That has been the early expectation around Tennessee’s pick around the league leading everyone to to talk about what the Browns might do with the second overall pick including potentially selecting Shedeur Sanders.
We are over a month away from the NFL combine and a few months away from the 2025 NFL draft. Many things could happen between now and then but it is interesting to see the Ward rumors add another layer this early.
Do you read anything into these early rumors/reports especially now coming from Ward’s head coach?
