The former Hall of Fame left tackle will attend the draft taking place in his home state.
As the Cleveland Browns are preparing to make a big decision at the top of the draft, the NFL announced that Joe Thomas will represent them during the festivities of the 2025 NFL Draft. The draft will take place next week in Thomas’s home state of Wisconsin, in Green Bay.
The former Browns’ left tackle will announce one of the draft picks during the second night of the draft on Friday and be among the four NFL Legends to attend on-site. Thomas will be a popular podium choice as he played in college at the University of Wisconsin.
The full list of current and former players is the following:

Ironically, it was Thomas who made waves by deciding not to attend his draft eighteen years ago, in 2007, when he was drafted by Cleveland with the third overall pick. Thomas, famously, decided to go fishing instead and many have made the connection to Travis Hunter whom everyone has recently learned about his love for fishing.

Unlike Thomas, Hunter will be in attendance for the draft and will likely be picked very early. The Browns have been heavily linked to him in recent weeks and could land the biggest fish of the draft with the number two overall pick.
What do you think? Remember, Cleveland traded back into the first round to get a QB in that draft as well. Is this all the universe aligning to bring the Browns good fortune in this draft? Let us know in the comments below.
