Cam Ward has been assumed along with Shedeur Sanders but will Jaxson Dart, Jalen Milroe, Kyle McCord join them?
With a month left until the 2025 NFL draft, everything seems up in the air. Most believe that QB Cam Ward, DE Abdul Carter, WR/CB Travis Hunter and QB Shedeur Sanders will be selected near the top of the draft with other players, like DT Mason Graham, also deserving attention.
With the second overall pick, the Cleveland Browns could be in a position to address their long-standing quarterback need, as the veteran market seems to have stalled, or add one of the two best players in this draft class. Many fans have been down on the quarterbacks this year but have hoped the Browns could nab one on Day 2 or with a small trade-up.
According to Ian Rapoport, there may not be a quarterback available worthy of a pick there. While hosting the “Pat McAfee Show,” Rapoport predicted that three quarterbacks would be selected in the first 15 selections:
“I think we’re gonna see three Quarterbacks drafted in the top fifteen..
Where Shedeur Sanders goes is the biggest draft question mark that I can remember in a very long time..
What he did at Colorado and Jackson State is unbelievable” ~ @RapSheet #PMSLive pic.twitter.com/Us48MTtatu

Media and social media have pushed Jaxson Dart as the quarterback who could rise up the rankings, despite some significant pushback on Dart’s hype. The Consensus Big Board has seen Dart rise significantly, now up to #33 overall, since the end of the NFL’s regular season.
Other quarterbacks could be in the mix early as well including Jalen Milroe, Kyle McCord and Tyler Shough.
What do you think of Rapoport’s guess that three quarterbacks will be drafted in the Top 15? Which QB do you think is the third after Ward and Sanders?
