Abdul Carter, Travis Hunter, Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders have seemed to separate themselves but Browns rumors will flow all over the place
The key decision makers from the Cleveland Browns are at the NFL Scouting Combine, including GM Andrew Berry who answered questions from the media. When it comes to the draft, most of the attention was focused on what the Browns will do with the number two overall pick.
Specifically, the quarterbacks and whether or not Cleveland will draft one there at the top. Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward are widely considered the only two viable options that high in the draft.
Other options include trading back, which Berry didn’t rule out as an option. Earlier in the day ESPN’s NFL Insider Adam Schefter stated that he believes the Browns will stick at two and select their next quarterback.
On his own podcast, The Adam Schefter Show, he told Ty Schmit the one thing he is most sure of regarding the upcoming draft: “The thing that I feel most comfortable and confident about in this draft is the Cleveland Browns at number two will wind up taking a QB.
Of the many scenarios for the upcoming NFL Draft, the one that makes the most sense is Browns using their top pick on a quarterback.

Schefter went on to elaborate on his reasoning which most of it revolved around the Deshaun Watson injury situation. It sounds as if he is simply following logic but anytime the league’s most plugged-in insider says something definitively, you have to give it its proper weight.
Time will tell, but one thing for certain is that you can expect to hear plenty of more rumors surrounding the Browns and the top two quarterbacks coming out of the combine this week.
What do you think? Does this mean much coming from Schefter or more of him using deductive reasoning? Let us know in the comments below.
