We now sit just about a month and a half out from the start of the new league year, when the Cleveland Browns and the other 31 teams can look at adding talent to their rosters in NFL free agency.
The Browns are currently slated with negative cap space, but the latest Deshaun Watson restructure has not yet been factored into the figure. They will have a decent amount of money to spend in free agency. We could see one aggressive move with the addition of a handful of low-level and bottom-of-the-roster fill-out signings. The key will be to find rotational contributors and special teamers while keeping the top of the roster together and hitting on their 2025 NFL draft picks.
