The Browns’ offensive line of musical chairs continues.
Here is your Week 12 injury wrap-up as the Cleveland Browns take on the Pittsburgh Steelers this Thursday.
Biggest Injury Storylines
- After tweaking his knee again before the Saints game this past Sunday, there was hope that Jedrick Wills could play at left tackle for Dawand Jones, who fractured his leg. Wills was ruled out for the Steelers game, though, which means Germain Ifedi gets the start and Geron Christian will be his backup.
- The only other player out is tight end Geoff Swaim, who has primarily been used as a blocking tight end.
- The Steelers will be without linebacker Alex Highsmith and cornerback Cory Trice Jr. Highsmith also missed last week’s game against Baltimore, but is the team’s biggest piece missing this week. Everyone else is fine coming off of a short week.
Betting Odds Impact
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Browns are 3.5 point underdogs against the Steelers. The line was originally 4.5 in favor of Pittsburgh, but it’s not believed that injuries shifted the odds at all.
Fantasy Implications
- There is no impact on fantasy values, except maybe that the Steelers’ defense becomes an even stronger play with more changes on Cleveland’s offensive line.
