This hasn’t happened in the common era.
There’s something unique about this year’s NFL Draft, for now. Is it that the Cleveland Browns have a first-round pick again? Well, that is a bit unique, considering the Browns haven’t had one in the past three drafts. However, that is only part of the uniqueness of this year’s draft, specifically when it comes to the first round.
As the NFL pointed out earlier today, this is the first time in the common era that all 32 teams in the league own their first-round pick to begin the league year. Take a look for yourself:

That means if you do a mock draft now, for the first time, you can truly think about every single team’s needs, as opposed to certain teams being left out, or some teams having two or three first-round picks.
That doesn’t mean it will stay that way come mid-April, though, as a trade leading up to the draft could shake up the top of the draft board, and draft-day trades are bound to happen too. At Dawgs By Nature, we’ll begin our annual mock draft signup process soon, where users can claim one or more teams to mock picks for.
