With many expecting him to be selected two days ago, new Browns QB Shedeur Sanders reacts to being picked
The 2025 NFL draft will either go down in history or join the infamy of the Cleveland Browns draft lore. The Browns started the draft off with a huge trade down, bypassing WR/CB Travis Hunter, and selecting DT Mason Graham. Multiple players were added before Cleveland chose QB Dillon Gabriel at the end of the third round despite Shedeur Sanders still being available.
Then, on Saturday, the Browns traded up in the fifth round to select Sanders and set off a flurry of activity all over Cleveland and national media.
Sanders, who expected to be selected in the first round where he had a party setup, had his family with him when the news came in. His reaction showed that he is excited to be joining the Browns:

An energetic, famous quarterback, Browns fans might have to get used to all the video cameras and media attention, despite Sanders starting out behind a number of QBs on the team.
