Breaking news has come in before Sunday’s Cleveland Browns matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders out west. Two key players on LA have been officially ruled OUT. That would be wide receiver Davante Adams (hamstring) and defensive end Maxx Crosby (ankle).
The Raiders already started this season with a 1-2 record just like our beloved Browns have done so unfortunately. This doesn’t make this game any walk in the park, so to speak. The Browns couldn’t even handle a New York Giants team on the home turf. The game ahead is on the road…
Via BR: Through three games this season, Crosby recorded 14 tackles and three sacks, on pace to pass his career-high 14.5 sacks he had a season ago. He suffered a high-ankle sprain in the Raiders’ Week 2 win against the Baltimore Ravens but played the following week against the Carolina Panthers.
BR as well: Adams has had a frustrating start to the season, recording just 209 receiving yards and a touchdown through three games. He was productive in Week 2, recording 110 receiving yards and a touchdown in a win over the Ravens, but picked up just 40 receiving yards as Carolina walloped Las Vegas on Sunday.
The Browns are looking to resurrect a season that has gotten off to an incredibly disappointing start. Let’s hope for a win to head to Washington for a matchup against the Commanders.
Take care of business and most importantly do not let this news make it seem like a guaranteed win. It’s still an NFL team and our Browns haven’t been so hot themselves…
