The Cleveland Browns fell to the Seattle Seahawks in their final preseason game Saturday by a final score of 37-33. This concludes the Browns preseason for 2024 as they finished with a record of (0-3).
Starting quarterback Deshaun Watson ended up not playing for the Browns in the final preseason as he continues to deal with a sore shoulder. Backup QB Jameis Winston was given the start in replace of Watson where he went 6 for 9 with 63 yards. Dorian Thompson-Robinson and Tyler Huntley were given most of the reps for the remainder of the game. DTR threw one touchdown and Huntley threw three touchdowns.
Overall, the team looked decent for preseason but will need to be ready for Week One against the Cowboys. Browns fans should not be worried about these preseason outcomes impacting the regular season game because the offense and defense looked to be a very vanilla gameplay.
The starters and coaches should hopefully be ready for Week One, as the majority of Cleveland fans are probably happy preseason is finally over. The best thing is nothing matters until kickoff on September 8, 2024. Let’s go Browns!
