What to watch for

It’s the end of the world as we know it…right?

Sarcasm aside, the Cavaliers are now in the midst of their second-longest losing streak of the season. Two-game losing streaks are where teams look in the mirror and have a reality check. You know the NBA gods do save their toughest battles for their greatest warriors.

In actuality, the Cavaliers have struggled offensively through two games, it is appearing to be in the second half. They lost to Orlando after blowing a lead heading into the fourth quarter. Then their offense hit a bump in the fourth quarter after a first-half shootout with the LA Clippers.

In terms of sample sizes, two games is a real minute clump to point out the flaws of the best team in the Eastern Conference. How much of this is because of the defenses they played versus self-inflicted wounds. That is up to interpretation, however, it must be noted that the league is highly predicated on shot variance.

While the Cavaliers are not looking like themselves currently, it is hard to be as dominate as they have been for an entire season and bumps in the road do occur. If they proceed to be sub .500 for the remainder of the season then I will sound an alarm, until then take a breather Cavs fans.
