Cleveland- It was a night that held a lot of sentiment as Lebron James and son Bronny visited the Cavs. The father and son duo donning Lakers uniforms were the talk of the night. At least for a few emotion filled moments. The Cavs played a video tribute and the crowd showed their love for LeBron and his son. Bronny’s name was chanted throughout Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse by fans wanting to see him take the court in the 4th quarter. In a full circle moment Bronny scored his first bucket in Cleveland….the city where his dad began his career. A Hollywood writer couldn’t have done a better script.

The Cavalier team wasn’t as welcoming on the court. Jumping out to an early lead, outscoring the Lakers by 19 points in the 1st quarter, the Cavs kept their foot on the gas. Evan Mobley led the team with 25 points and Donovan Mitchell was right behind with 24.
Cleveland remains undefeated. Their 5-0 start is the first since 2016. We all know how that season ended.
