Isaac Okoro is one of the best remaining free agents on the market. His status as a restricted free agent has complicated thing. The Cleveland Cavaliers would like to bring Okoro back, but at the right price.
The Cavs have reportedly made Okoro several different offers throughout free agency. These offers include variations of multi-year deals at what Cleveland considers to be Okoro’s market value.
At this point, Okoro and the Cavaliers haven’t been able to find common ground. With each day that passes, it grows increasingly likely that the four-year veteran wing may sign his $11.8 million qualifying offer. If Okoro signs the qualifying offer, he’ll be on a one-year contract, with a no-trade clause for next season. He would then be an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2025.
