Cavs news and likes for Wednesday, November 20.
The Cleveland Cavaliers saw their streak end at the hands of the Boston Celtics. There were some positives to take away from that game. None more than Evan Mobley’s performance.
Evan Mobley – Cavalier of the Game
The Cavs need to win the battle inside against a smaller Celtics team if they want to have any chance of prevailing in this matchup. Mobley did his part. He hunted switches and immediately attacked whenever he saw an opening against a smaller player in the post. That’s exactly what he needed to do.
When Boston brought help, he quickly and decisively found the open man.
Mobley was phenomenal in the playoffs against Boston last season. He’s added elements to his game since then and has been a far more impactful offensive player through the first month of the season. That was on complete display in Tuesday’s loss.
Mobley finished with 22 points on 8-13 shooting with 11 rebounds and 6 assists.
