Cleveland Cavaliers wing Max Strus will miss six weeks due to a sprained right ankle. Strus was injured during an individual workout on Thursday of this week.
Strus averaged career-highs of 12.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game in first season with the Cavaliers. The veteran wing was also one of the healthier players for Cleveland, as he appeared in 70 games last season.
The Cavs will rely upon Isaac Okoro and Caris LeVert while Strus is out. 2024 first-round pick Jaylon Tyson may also see additional minutes while Strus is out. The rookie wing has impressed throughout Summer League and the preseason.
