Mario Chalmers recently made waves around the NBA world when he said players don’t fear LeBron James like they once feared Michael Jordan.
LeBron, at his most physically dominant, carried Chalmers and the Miami Heat to two NBA titles in 2012 and 2013.
During a recent appearance on The Draymond Green Show, Tristan Thompson came out to defend his former teammate and blast Chalmers’ recent comments.
“First of all, Miami LeBron is the scariest LeBron we’ve ever seen,” Thompson said. “… Guys be on some sucka sh-t. I don’t like that kind of stuff. Why’d you start switching up?
“… I would never talk bad about any of my teammates that I won a championship with.”
“That sh*t pissed me off… guys be on some sucka sh*t”

Thompson won an NBA title with LeBron and the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016. Clearly, he has some more respect for The King than Chalmers does.
“Nobody fears Bron,” Chalmers said earlier this week. “Nobody’s like, ‘Damn, I gotta go play against Bron tonight.’ Nobody said that. I don’t know why, because I seen people be scared when they actually line up to him, but they’re not scared thinking about that matchup.”
Chalmers hasn’t taken the NBA court since suiting up for the Memphis Grizzlies in 2017-18.
