Bo Jackson to the… Oh wait.
On Tuesday, four-star running back Bo Jackson announced his commitment to the Ohio State Buckeyes; landing Ryan Day another top talent on the offensive side of the ball.
Jackson, a Cleveland, Ohio native, stars at Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School where he’s quickly set himself apart as one of the best skill position players coming out of the Midwest in next year’s class. Jackson finished the 2023 season with close to 30 total touchdowns and 1,700 rushing yards on over 10 yards per carry.
Taking to social media to announce the decision, Jackson tweeted: “It’s Official. 1000% [Committed] #TheeOhioStateFootball #Blessed.”

Jackson received offers from several of the nation’s top programs before settling on the hometown Buckeyes.
According to 247Sports, offers were extended from Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oregon, Penn State and Tennessee. But Jackson only took official visits to OSU and UGA.
At 6’0,” 205-pounds, Jackson already has a physically-imposing frame that should make him college-ready as soon as he sets foot on campus.
The No. 3 running back was reportedly expected to make his third official visit to Bama this weekend but his recent trip to Columbus appears to have sealed the deal.
