The Buckeyes continue to add to their 2026 class with commitment No. 3.
It may have taken a while for the Buckeyes to get their 2026 recruiting class going, but in the last two weeks Ohio State has added two more players to the fold, with the latest coming on Thursday. A Happy Thanksgiving for the Buckeyes indeed, the staff is thrilled to add another top target, and looks to really have some momentum starting to build in this upcoming cycle.
Florida native Corbyn Fordham is the latest pledge to pick the Buckeyes. The No. 323 player nationally and the 15th best tight end in the class per the 247Sports Composite, position coach Keenan Bailey keeps up his success on the trail with an early win in the process. Landing his top target in the 2025 class in Nate Roberts, it shows the position rooms are not only identifying their guys early, but also building impactful relationships that are proving to be the difference in making Ohio State the choice.
Holding nearly 30 offers to his name, Fordham chose Ohio State over schools like Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Tennessee, and a host of others. A 6-foot-4, 220 pound athlete, the tight end has the ideal frame to play the position at the next level and still has a full year of prep football to not only improve on his skills, but also continue getting even stronger for when he gets to Columbus.
The Buckeyes likely will look to add a second tight end in the class, but landing one this early on really takes the pressure off. A great addition to say the least, the 2026 class is rolling right now and that should continue for the long haul.

Ohio State set to host a 2026 top receiver
Already two receivers committed in the 2026 class, it will be interesting to see who the Buckeyes look to finish with. At least three guys are thought to be goal for Hartline, but if four are worthy of being taken, Ohio State won’t turn away top players. Fortunately, like every other recruiting year, the Buckeyes will have their fair share of options, and this week one of those top-ranked guys kept Ohio State in the mix.
Releasing a top schools list of 10 this past Tuesday, Florida native Jabari Brady kept Alabama, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Miami, Missouri, Ole Miss, Oregon, Texas A&M, and Ohio State still under his consideration before making a final call. With nearly 40 offers to his name, trimming it down to just 10 shows Brady is working towards making up his mind, but seeing Ohio State still in it isn’t surprising considering the track record.
The latest, Ohio State will get Brady on campus this weekend as news broke on Thursday that Brady has plans to be in town for the regular season finale. The No. 46 player nationally and sixth best receiver in the class per the 247Sports Composite, landing a visit this weekend is a major step in the right direction to staying atop of his list. Either way, the good news for the Buckeyes regarding top receivers stays in a positive direction.

Guest list for this weekend continues adding elite players
Set to host an incredible amount of elite recruits on campus for The Game, the Buckeyes have their first priority being on the field of course, but this staff also will be giving much of their attention after the game to the targets they are having brought in. A big time guest list that continues seeing top names added, it’s going to be a star-studded affair come Saturday.
One of the latest targets to add his name to the list, five-star safety Bralan Womack is also coming to the rivalry game. The No. 19 player nationally and second best safety in the 2026 class per the 247Sports Composite, Womack has nearly 30 offers to his name and from every top program out there, though currently there’s one Notre Dame crystal ball prediction in this recruitment.
A front row seat at watching Caleb Downs and Lathan Ransom on Saturday, it doesn’t hurt Ohio State’s chances at impressing these top players at the position. Having Womack in attendance will help their chances down the road, and that’s all you can ask for.

In addition to Womack, the Buckeyes will also host to in-state product, Jakob Weatherspoon. Making the short trek from Avon, Weatherspoon is seeing his name linked closer and closer to Ohio State, and it wouldn’t be a shock to see him commit to the Buckeyes sooner rather than later.
Another visit to Columbus for the No. 166 player nationally per the 247Sports Composite, Weatherspoon being at Ohio State this often is just what you want from a top in-state player who certainly likes what he sees from his local program.
