On episode 157 of the Bucketheads Podcast, Connor and Justin are joined by former Ohio State men’s basketball center Joey Brunk. Brunk, who also spent time with Butler and Indiana in his collegiate career, talked for 50 minutes about a variety of different topics.
First, we discuss Brunk’s professional playing career overseas and how playing overseas works. Then, we discuss his taking the LSATs at Ohio State and whether he will pursue a career in law.
After that, we get into his time at Ohio State and his iconic Michigan State game. He talks about the team chemistry the 2021-22 team had, what they were able to accomplish, and where they all are now.
To close, we get into Brunk’s hobbies now, including his photography and travels to view wildlife. It is genuinely incredible to hear what he has done.
Before we talk to Brunk, we should discuss the addition of Brandon Noel and Christoph Tilly, Taison Chatman’s return from injury, and whether RJ Luis is coming to Columbus. (No).
