Former All-Big Ten defensive tackle and current Cleveland Browns rookie Mike Hall Jr. has been arrested today.
According to ESPN Browns insider Daniel Oyefusi, the former Ohio State player was booked by Avon Police this morning. The arrest comes on the heels of a reported “domestic dispute” that took place on Monday evening, which was first reported by Zac Jackson of The Athletic.
“Browns rookie DT Mike Hall Jr. was arrested by Avon Police this morning and is being booked, per a police spokesman,” Oyefusi wrote.

The Browns released a statement on Tuesday morning, announcing that they were “aware of the incident” and are “gathering more information” while Hall and his representatives have been in touch with the authorities. The team said it will have no further comment at this time.
“We are aware of the incident involving Mike Hall, Jr. last night,” the Browns said in a statement, via Eleven Warriors. “Mike and his representatives have been in touch with the appropriate authorities. We are in the process of gathering more information and will have no further comment at this time.”
Hall was a two-time All-Big Ten Third-Team selection in three years at Ohio State. The Browns drafted him No. 54 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft.
With this arrest though, his NFL future is certainly in jeopardy before it even really begins.
