Ohio State has produced a good chunk of stud NFL wide receivers over the last several years.
Players like Michael Thomas, Chris Olave, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Marvin Harrison Jr., and Garrett Wilson have all come from the school over this last decade and it’s led some people to call OSU a “wide receiver factory.”
Wilson was asked about this reputation by a member of the media on Wednesday and provided a great answer.
“We know how to practice. We practice as hard as possible so the game is what it is,” Wilson said. “We’re always competitive as hell.”

Coaching is also a major reason why the Buckeyes have churned out all of these wide receivers. Head coach Ryan Day does a great job developing these players, as does wide receivers coach and co-offensive coordinator Brian Hartline.
Hartline has coached the wide receivers since 2018 and has done one heck of a job turning them into great players.
Wilson will enter his third season in 2024 and is looking to notch over 1,000 yards for a third straight year. He finished the 2023 season with 95 receptions for 1,042 yards and three touchdowns.
