At 6-foot-6 and 270 pounds as a high school sophomore, 2026 five-star defensive end Jahkeem Stewart already has the measurables to be an NFL player. But his next visit could have a big impact on where he chooses to play college ball.
According to Chad Simmons of On3 Sports, Stewart is visiting Ohio State this week. Though this isn’t the first time that he’s gotten a look at the Columbus campus. He was reportedly at the Buckeyes’ Spring Game in April.
247Sports rated Stewart as the No. 2 overall prospect in the Class of 2026. He is the No. 1 defensive lineman in the nation and the No. 1 player from the state of Louisiana.
The Buckeyes have no shortage of competition for Stewart’s services though. He’s received offers from just about every Power Conference team in the country including (but hardly limited to) Alabama, Auburn, LSU, USC, Oregon and Texas.
But the Buckeyes or whichever team Stewart chooses to play for might not have to wait two more seasons in order to get him. On3 noted that he is considering reclassifying to the Class of 2025,
Will Stewart commit to the Buckeyes? Will he play college ball as early as 2025?
