Jake Paul is ready for Saturday’s clash between Ohio State and Tennessee.
Ohio State will host Tennessee in a first-round College Football Playoff matchup in Columbus with the winner moving on to play Oregon in the quarterfinals.
Jake Paul, a Cleveland native who recently defeated Mike Tyson in a Netflix-exclusive fight, is fired up for the game and is ready to cheer on the Buckeyes.
“Big big big college football on Saturday on ESPN with Ohio State! Let’s go Buckeyes,” Paul tweeted.
This is a big game for both teams, but especially the Buckeyes since there is a lot of pressure on head coach Ryan Day. He’s fresh off a fourth consecutive loss against the Michigan Wolverines and may need to make a deep run at the CFP if he wants to keep his job heading into next season.
The Buckeyes finished the regular season with a 10-2 record and got the eighth seed in the CFP.
They’ll be facing a fellow 10-2 team in the Vols, one of the best teams in the SEC this year. Josh Heupel has done one heck of a job with his team and their only two losses came against the Georgia Bulldogs and the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Both teams have electric offenses so there’s a chance that this could be a high-scoring game.
The CFP will get underway on Friday with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish taking on the Indiana Hoosiers before the other three games take place on Saturday.
Kickoff from the Horseshoe will be at 8 p.m. ET.
